This entry was done by the Blue Reading Group and is called the Dunker. The entry was written by the very creative Rosa.
This story is about a book called the Dunker. It is a non-fictional story. It is all about a practicing safety features when there is a underwater helicopter crash. They do not have to panic in this situation. The trainees are glad that they have a practice session and this is not real. I feel really happy to read this story because if someone was training to become a helicopter pilot, they could just read this story and know what the best thing to do in this situation.

The Skateboard Ramp
This blog entry was done by the Yellow Group and was written by the very creative student Kiana.
This book was about Ria and she was skateboarding to a ramp and she wasn't alone. Ria and Aroha (her friend) had a challenge with other skaters. Ria did a cool student. Her trick was really awesome and pretty cool. I would recommend this story to boys and especially girls would like to be skateboarders. She is a really good role model.
I felt really happy abour reading this story. I think the author's main ideas were trying to say that girls can do anything and more. This text is great to read and has lots of verbs and interesting describing words.

Playing Netball for Nga Iwi School
On Tuesday the 31st of May, we went to David Lange Park to have our netball tournament.
Our first game was against Waterlea School and they were pretty good. I was in the B grade and we just lost against them. The next game was against Nga Tapuwae who were not the best team in the world.
Also at the end of the netball, we went to the prize giving and they call us out for coming in first place and we all screamed really loud. After we shouted the lady said she was not sure where the trophy was but thought that we might have in our cupboard which we did.
Also I felt really happy because we used a lot of defense and attacking netball.
